Our Story

Radiance Luxe Gems was established in 2021 in Sri Lanka, continuing the proud legacy of Wadood & Sons, a prestigious gem business founded in Galle during the 1970s. The late Mr. Wadood, a respected figure in the Southern Province gem trade, managed the business with a dedicated team operating across Sri Lanka.

Wadood & Sons specialized in the buying and selling of a wide range of gemstones and crafting bespoke gemstone pieces with exquisite designs. The business was particularly renowned for its focus on Blue Sapphires, Rubies, and Emeralds. In addition, it operated a gem-cutting workshop staffed by five skilled craftsmen.

After Mr. Wadood’s passing, his son continued to manage the enterprise on a smaller scale, preserving the family tradition.

In 2021, inspired by the knowledge, craftsmanship and values passed down by their grandfather, Mr. Wadood’s two grandsons established Radiance Luxe Gems. Today, the company carries forward this rich heritage with renewed vision and commitment to excellence in the world of gemstones.
